Perceptions of Eastern vs Western Education.

The goal of my project is to examine the difference in perceptions of Eastern and Western classroom and teacher-student dynamics and their influences on high school students.

Questions to consider are: How are the tables arranged differently in Eastern schools and Western schools? How are the students seated? How much homework do they receive? How do the classrooms look: are there posters, whiteboards, air-conditioning, etc? How are the teacher-student relationships like? How are the classroom atmospheres? How do the teachers discipline students? How often do teachers and students talk after class? What do they talk about after class: more about school life or social life?
